Tennessee Ernie Bird is up to no good.

We have this little bird. Mommy thinks he is cute. Not cuter than me, but just bird cute. Sometimes he comes out of his cage. I use to be afraid of him, because he walks around like he owns the place. Now, I am not afraid of him. He just bugs me.
I think he flips me the bird! Posted by Picasa

Driving Miss Daisy

In my mom's car I have my own seat. It keeps me safe and it stores a spare chewie and toy. It also serves as a spare bed.
In my Dad's truck, I run around and sit where I want. I look out the windows and see the cows.
Trucks have less rules than cars, at least that's what I figure. Posted by Picasa

Camo Daisy

This is my favorite outfit.
My daddy made it for me.
It's for hunting. Everybody gets a big kick out of it. I went shopping in it at the Bass pro shop and they thought it was pretty funny. It's nice and cozy and I now look official. I'm a hunting dog! Posted by Picasa

Jumping thru Hoops

My Dad says it is harder to get a picture of me jumping thru hoops than getting me to jump thru hoops. This is good trick. I first jump thru the bottom hoop and then I come back and jump thru the top hoop. I jump thru a single hoop, double hoop, hoops held at my mom's side and then this fancy dancy low hoop and high hoop.
It's good exercise and I'lll entertain you if you come by for a visit. Posted by Picasa

Mommy's Wines win Gold Medals

Good news for all of us

I don't know much about wines. I do like to chase after the corks and chew them up, before anyone notices. My mom is very happy today because 9 of the wines she sells won gold and silver medals at the San Francisco Wine Competition, including the Merlot which I am picture with. One wine even won a double gold medal, the 2005 Old Vines Chenin Blanc. Is double gold like double teeth?

Much Better Today

I'm feeling much better today.
I am up to my old self.
I still have to eat the blah doggie food. They bought a big can. I learned my lesson, no bones for Daisy Mae!

Don't eat no bones

I just got back from the doctor's.
He said don't eat no bones. Even if your daddy gives them to you. Don't eat no bones.
Even if they don't splinter. Don't eat no bones. Even if they smell so good and they clean your teeth. Don't eat no bones.

My tummy hurts today, real bad. They took me to the doctor's and they gave me shots and medicine. I have to eat bland doggie can food and take hairball medicine to help move things along. I don't what kind of things need to move along, I don't care. I just don't want to throw up any more. I have one word to the wise: Don't eat no bones! Posted by Picasa

Short Snow

I woke up and there was snow.
I remember snow from my ski week-end in Lake Tahoe last year. First time, I've seen this stuff here.
It's short snow. It barley gets my feet wet. I ran around looking for deer, possum, fox, vole and squirrel tracks. The snow leaves their feet prints behind. Posted by Picasa

Friday the 13th

I am a lucky dog. I have a good home, the best mom and dad, a useless cat buddy, a tweety bird and lots and lots of hunting land to run around and dig holes in.
Don't care that it's Friday. Don't care that it is the 13th.
Do you? Posted by Picasa

Don't say we didn't warn you....

My Daddy made this sign.
It's to keep the gate close.
I think, he thinks this is funny. My mom thinks they may help keep me in my yard. I think it pays to advertise. Posted by Picasa

Possum Hunting

My dad takes me hunting every day. That's what we call my walks in the woods.
Friday night I found a possum. He was right by the house. I went up to see the prehistoric monster and he just looked at me. I wanted to sniff him but my Dad called and I came running back. Then my Mom came out to look at the possum. He slowly walked away, while my Mom held me back. Lucky for him, cause I don't want no monster on my land. Posted by Picasa

Green with envy?

I just got back from the babysitter. Mom and Dad went away for two days and they just got back. I had fun at the neighbors. They have a big cat, a kitten and a little boy. I had lots of fun and attention. They didn't see me in this get up...... Posted by Picasa

Spring Fairy

Won't it be nice when spring is here?
I think I can smell the flowers now. Yesterday, felt like spring. It was 70 degrees on the mountain.

Today it's not nearly as nice. I got to run thru the mud today. No I wasn't wearing my fairy dress. It is in the closet till Spring. Posted by Picasa

2006, the year of the dog

Happy New Year to all.
Did you know that this year will be the year of the dog? It's not Chinese New Year's yet, but it will be soon and this year is the year of the dog. It's good to know. Posted by Picasa
