Snow Day Today

We woke up and there was snow all around.
We got to go on a long walk thru the woods and around the pond.
The snow stuck to my coat and my feet.
I should have wore Mom's hat outside to keep my ears warm,
but you can't run around in a hat.

Mom likes her new dog sink in the mudroom.
We had a mini-bath of warm water to melt the snow from our paws.
We get muddy, we get a paws bath.
We get snowy, we get a paws bath.
It's hard being a dirty dog in this new house!

We finally moved into the big house

It has been most confusing to Camo and I.
Back and forth between the little house and the big house.
The food was in the little house and we slept in the little house.
But everything changed this week end.
Our food is in the big house and we get feed in the mudroom( or the dog room as I like to call it.)
It is a pretty lavendar colored room with washing machines and a dog washing sink.
We have our own cupboard for our food, clothes, dog purses and extra toys.
We sleep in the big house and I like it.
So it is finally done!
Camo runs back to the little house and sits on the porch.
It will take him longer to figure things out....he has never moved before.

Ham Hock Dreams

Last night, they made Lentil Soup with Ham Hocks.
Camo had his first taste of a Ham Hock bone.
We chewed on them for awhile, till Dad took them away.
He is still dreaming about that bone!
Look at his tongue hanging out.

Daisy Sized Cake

Mommie went all out and bake a cake.
It was a layer of red velvet cake, with whipped cream and little pieces of raspberry chocolates,
with a layer of strawberry cake with raspberry jam and whipped cream and
another layer of red velvet cake
and raspberry jam and whipped cream
and another layer of strawberry cake with whipped cream
topped with fresh raspberries and little pieces of chocolate.
It was almost as big as I.
It went to dinner at someone else house and none came back.
DRATS!
I didn't even get to taste it.
Next time, I am diving into the cake if I ever get this close again!

He needs to say our new house is perfect and then we can move in.
Don't I just pop on the new carpet.

Red, White and Blue-Eyed

Camo and I went to vote today.
We sat in the car, but we went anyways.
I hope you go vote and get out of your car!

I haven't heard much about the candidates pets.
I hope the best one's have dogs.
Little dogs would be my preference.
Cute little white dogs with caramel coloring on the tips of their ears would be best.
