Kit the Red Fox

We captured a photo of a baby fox in our woods.
My dad set up a deer camera that takes photos when something goes by.
Boy oh Boy!, was my mom surprised.
This photo was taken at 5:22 a.m.
I was sleeping under our bedcovers with Mom, Dad and Camo.


There are two foxes, Mom and Baby.

Now, Camo and I are on restriction.
Mom won't let us out of her sight.
We hope the foxes will move away soon.

Dancing with the Stars

I don't mambo. I don't waltz. I don't fox trot.
I do the daisy dance--free style.

Koi our Cat

I think it finally happened. Mom ran out of cute photos of us dogs.
So here is a current photo of our cat.
She is the only one that made if from California.
Her name is Koi. She is 14 years old and she is totally in charge of all the animals.
Some times she catches mice, chipmunks and flying squirrels and brings them home to show us.
Some times she eats them and doesn't share a hair.

Pretty Boy

Mom says that Camo is growing into his hair and is becoming a very pretty boy.
He is 8 months old now.
I was 8 months old when I came to live with my mom.
I grew into a pretty girl and I had more hair than my silly brother has.

High school

This is one of the doxies from the festival.
Mom said this is what she looked like in high school.
Maybe a long time ago, my mom was really a dog.
Now she is just my mom, two legged and with red hair.

Big Boy Blue

He is a big boy with big boy blue eyes.
They call him Blue.
He is little older than most dogs I have meet.
He lives with a little dog, so he is easy to be around.
We visit him with his pack and they hardly pay attention to Camo and me.

Taking time to smell the flowers

It's just me taking time to smell the flowers.
It rained over the week end and boy it made everything smell so good.
You make sure you take some time today to smell the flowers

Dixie Doxie Festival

It was the Fifth Annual Dixie Doxie Festival in Hixson Tenn.
People and Dachshunds came from far and wide.
There were people from North Carolina and Georgia.
Mom meet a lot of people.
Camo meet a lot of dogs.
I had a quiet day with Dad.
The next few photo's are from the day's event on Saturday.

Party Animals

Mom said the park was full of Dachshunds.
Some came looking their best.

Mom said there were more babies there than people.
All the doxies were babies.
Some more than most.

This is Camo securing last place.
They opened the shoots and he just stood around.
He was dead last in his heat.

Can we go home now?

It was a long day for a long dog.
We can't wait till next year.
Mom says I can go with Camo and I can be his handler.

Best Friends in the end

We share adventure.
We share our fun.
We are best friends in the end.

Dixie Doxie Festival

Camo is going to a doxie festival this week end.
Nothing but wieners dogs all day long.
Yikes!
I am not sure if I am going....mommie says it's just for him.
I think I rather take a nap.
Now when they have a festival for cute dogs....I will be there!

Fox Hunter

Yesterday, I chased a red fox.
It was early afternoon. Why that silly fox was out of his den, I don't know.
I sniffed him, I saw him and I ran after him.
Mommie was hysterical, she kept yelling my name so I had to stop.
Slowly I can back to her.
I always have to come when I am called.
Sometimes that rule takes all the fun out of a day.

Camo Cool!

Here he is again, trying to be Joe Cool.
Mommie says his shirt has his name written all over it.
2 Cool for Obedience School.
Mommie is in Las Vegas and she has no idea how cool and disobedient Camo really is.
I have been really good this week. Just like I always am.

Dogwood Winter

It's been a dogwood winter. It's been colder this Easter than it was on Christmas Day.
Lucky for me, I still have a warm jogging suit to wear.
BRRrrrrrrr. Baby, it's been cold outside.

Our tulips took a dive

 

It snowed last night. I woke up to the white stuff all over the ground.
Mommie tried to protect the flowers, but oh no the tulips took a dive.
I'm wearing a purple jogging suit for Easter.
I hope you get jelly beans in your basket.
Remember no chocolate for us dogs, mo matter how much we beg.

Ducks among us

 

These two guys just moved into our pond.
I love to chase them.
I LOVE to chase them.
Mommie says no.
Daddy says go for it.
I even go up to my neck in the pond,just to chase them.
Unfortunately, I also get a bath afterwards to get the smelly duck water off me.
Love the ducks!
Best new toys that just flew in.
