Baby Raccoon

My mom is on her baby animal streak.....
This baby raccoon might steal your heart.
Three baby raccoons were rescued by
an exterminator and give to a wildlife rescue lady.

The babies are only a week ago and are cuter than a bandit.
I didn't get to see them, but I thought everyone would like
to see them before you see them climbing in your garbage!
Yes, I am getting a little jealous with these baby critters.....

Kit in our woods

There are two kits in our woods.
Little tiny babies.

Our parents went out on the tractor for a drive down
our big path thru the woods, and saw Mom Red Fox and her
two little kits. They were playing and eating a chicken.
My mom and dad took 50 photos of the event, so you
will see more in her posting this week.

My mom said the kits are very young, maybe a month
old. As they get bigger they get more color, now they
are just a gray color that blends well in the woods.
She says they look like a cross between kittens and a Yorkie.

So now, we are on hyper alert for Camo and me.
We don't want to be invited to dinner....as their dinner. Yikes!

Camo can only be spotted by his stripes when
we hike in the woods.

I love to play hide and seek.....cause I know all the good
places in the woods.

Spring Bonnets

We know we are a little early this year, but it's good to
see the Spring is almost here!

Part Doxie, Part Duck?

Camo can't seem to stay out of the water.
He loves the streams we find on our hike and
our Dad has let him go swimming in our ponds again.
He fetches sticks in the water just to show off.
He did it in front of company yesterday.... 16 times!
Of course, I wasn't counting or looking at him.
I was busy starting into space.

BlueBerry is in the pink!

Blueberry is our little bird, a parrotlet.
She is cute , but we don't get to touch her.
Sometimes, she comes out of her cage and explores our home.
She looks pretty smart to me.

Daisy finds first flower of Spring

I just found the first flower of Spring. It's little like me.
It a purple crocus in Mom's natural garden.

Mardi Gras Week-end

I am doing my best to look festive and fun loving.
It's Mardi Gras week-end and I know people are partying somewhere,
but not here in my living room.

There is nothing that's more fun than running wild in the woods.
We both wear orange sweaters so Mom can see us.

Frankie finds a home

Frankie is our new best buddy.
He was lost on the mountain; hungry, dirty and full of
ticks and fleas.
He was so lucky to find a new home with our friends.
He has a big brother named Inky, that puts up with his puppy ways.
He is mostly beagle, doxie and Reese's peanut butter cup;
Peanut butter in the inside and chocolate on the outside!

Camo would like to say....

Camo would like to say that although he looks good in sweaters,
he doesn't really like wearing them.
That's it.
