Yap, Yap, Yap

Do you hear me?
I have so much to say.
Yap. Yap. Yap.

Chipmunk season opens early

I don't think the chipmunk season is offically opened.
Camo doesn't have a hunting liscence or chipmunk tag.
But as they say in Tennessee, it's hunting season when your freezer is empty.

A shoulder to sleep on

When Mom is driving and the ride is long and when we aren't being bad, sometimes we get along just fine.

Why you can't trust a cat

We saw this picture of this nasty cat on the Internet.
You just can't trust a cat.
Look what they do when you aren't looking.
I hate to have my teeth brushed and this cat can't seem to get enough of it.

May your day be filled with butterflies

Robert Bissell is the painter of this blissful rabbit.
It makes my mom happy to look at it.
We hope it does the same for you.
If you want to see more of his work, Robert has a website.
Google his name and you can see more.
Or you can go to the gallery website www.lahainagalleries.com
Maybe some day my mom will have this hanging in our new house.
I hope so, I like rabbits and I like butterflies too.

Chip minus Dale

Mom found a little chipmunk along side the road.
We got to sniff it.
They run so fast we never get to sniff them this close.
Sorto smells like chicken!

Happy Birthday to our Mom

It's my mom's birthday today.
In dogs years she would be 29, again!
We are hoping for an excellent doggie bag when she gets home from dinner.

Maedli

Today, her name is Maedli.
It means little girl in German.
She is living at Stroppi's house.
Ha. Ha. Ha.
My little dachshund boyfriend has a new little sister that is bigger than he is.
Just like my little brother is bigger than me.
She's already sleeping in his mom's bed.
That little girl knows how to move right in.

They are going to try to find her first home, in case she is lost and not just dropped off.

People drop off animals here.
I couldn't imagine my mom driving me someplace
and telling me to leave the car and driving away.
I wouldn't leave the car.
I would tell her to drive me into cyberspace and I would meet all my friends there.
Yup! That's what I would do!

Sweetie Pie

Yikes! She already has a name.
A new collar and a new name and now she smells likes us.
She is only 13 pounds and if you want her, come on down and get her.
Mom is so tempted to keep her.
So all the people who love me. I know I have a big fan base.
And all the people who love Camo. Yes, the two of you out there.
Wouldn't it be perfect to have one dog that looks like Camo and Me combined.
And she is a girl! That is pretty great, too.
If you need a Sweetie Pie in your life.....she could be yours.

3 Amigos

When we got home yesterday evening, these three dogs were in our yard.
Mom told them to go home.
They didn't.
She feed the little one.
She said it looked like a cross between Camo and Me, part Terrier and part Dachshund.
They are pretty nice dogs for strangers, but we wanted them to leave.
They slept on the porch and Mom gave them dinner.
They spent the whole night on the porch.
They weren't leaving and I knew they were waiting for breakfast.
Mom took the two big ones to the dog kennels in Sewanee.
She brought the little girl back.
Gave everyone a bath, including her.
Gave her a new collar and now we are waiting for her foster mom to come and pick her up.
Mom says two is enough.
And surprisingly Camo and I are getting along really well right now.
We like it to just be two.

Rub a dub dub, two dogs in a tub

On Labor day we went swimming.
One of the best parts of swimming is that we swim to our yellow boat and float around.
Mom takes us to the lake so we get exercised, but I like to float in my boat.
I think I see a fish.
Finally, something smaller than me.

Hurry.....close the lid

I told Camo that we are going to learn a new game.
Hide and Seek for dogs.
I got him to jump in this camouflage box.
Shucks! I don't know how to close the lid.
My little paws aren't as big as my ideas.
Foiled Again!
