Dogs with Blogs

It is an explosion.
Dogs with their own blogs.
I am glad that so many of us have voices in this cyber world.
There is a blog call:
http://www.dogswithblogs.com.au/index.htm
I am number 251.
If anybody comes by to say hi from that blog, we appreciate it.

My daddy is hugging me in this photo. They all still love me at my house. I am happy and content. Posted by Picasa

Pee Wee Wiener Dog is a handful

My Mom says Camo is a handful.
She will start to appreciate me real soon.
I am so good.
I don't chew on shoe laces and have sharp needle baby teeth.
He has bitten me some and boy his teeth are sharp.

I have so much to teach him.
When he grows up he will be bigger than me.
Short and long.

I am a trim 7 1/2 lb bundle of joy.
He might be a 10 or 11 lb bundle of boy.

People have asked if he will have his own blog.
No he won't.
My mommie says my outlook on life is the one worth sharing. We hope you agree. Posted by Picasa

Big Sis and Little Bro

This is my tale to tell.
Camo will be visiting my blog, but my stories will always be from my point of view. When you are only seven pounds, the point of view is often from the ground.
So all my cyber friends and family, keep checking in ....Because life is a bowl of Daisy. Posted by Picasa

Pee Wee Wiener Dog

Camo has a nickname.
I call him Pee Wee Wiener Dog.
You can see why.
This morning we went on our walk.
He follows me on our walks, but when he gets scared he runs back to Mom.

I might teach him a thing or two about hunting and walking in the woods.
He is pretty smart.
He knows all about the doggie door and follows me in and out of the house.

He is the color of a big hunting dog called a Weimaraner with dark spots running down his back. He really blends into the leaves and trees.

He has the shortest legs. He can't jump up on anything.
Good for me, because I can get some quiet time on the coach, away from his puppyness. Posted by Picasa

Introducing my kid brother, Camo

I've been teasing everybody for a week now. Here he is.
Camo, short for camouflage.
He is a hunting dog and he blends into the woods.
Mommie says he is the color of fallen leaves. He is really little, only 4 lbs.
He has one blue eye and one hazel eye. He has red feet and red eyebrows. Mommie has fallen in love with him already and he loves her too.
I am taking my time with my love. I did play toys with him on Wednesday night for the first time. I don't mind sharing my mom's hugs with him and my Daddies big chair.
He is so darn cute, he grows on you. Posted by Picasa

It was my party.

Thanksgiving was a big day.
We went to North Carolina.
I met a big dog named Brock.
He was pretty friendly to me.
I ate a little turkey.
Everybody paid a lot of attention to me.
They sang Happy Birthday and I got to lick my cake. It was a Milk Dud whip cream cake. It had three candles on it. I only got one lick in while they sang the song, but it sure was good.
P.S.: The wine was for the adults. Posted by Picasa

Tomorrow is my Birthday

I am growing up fast.
Tomorrow is my birthday.
I will be three.
I was born on Thanksgiving so I get to celebrate my birthday every Thanksgiving.
There will be a big parade in New York City, and everybody in America will feast on turkey. All that for little ole me. I am glad that everybody celebrates my birthday.

This will be my last post that is just all me. Next post will have my little brother in on my life.
I guess at three,I can learn to share. In dog years, I am an adult, but I will always be my mommie's country princess baby dog, I know I will. Posted by Picasa

They gone and done it!

Yesterday my life changed....Forever...And ever.
I am still adjusting.
My mom and dad picked a new puppy and brought him home.
Really, a new dog in my house.
I am in a tizzy.
He is so little, but I know he is here to stay.
He is a 3 month old
Mini- Dachshund.
He is fawn colored with spots and red eyebrows.
They call his type: Isabella Dapple.
He has a long description but no name.
Mom will be taking photos and you'll see a picture soon.
Oh BROTHER, A little brother!

I got a lot of thinking to do....... Posted by Picasa

Driving Miss Daisy

I wish I could drive our tractor all the way to the Piggly Wiggly.
Just like the movie....

I like our tractor but I find shifting gears a little hard, that's why I let Daddy drive with me. Posted by Picasa

I've fallen for a G.I. Joe on Veteran's Day.

My mom saw his picture on the web and showed me it.
I've fallen for an army guy.
Oh my, isn't he the best.
He looks too young to be a veteran.
But I salute him for the holiday and everyday. Posted by Picasa

This is Maija

Maija found a home, so she never got to come here.
She is an English Setter. My mom thinks she is beautiful.
I guess she is,if you like classic good looks.
Anyways, Maija mom (another English Setter who is 2 or 3 years old) is up for adoption too.
Should my mom go and see her?
Or should I get a little brother first, a little dog that won't take away my spotlight? Posted by Picasa

Sunset in my backyard

The sun is almost gone. It happens so early now, since they changed the clocks.
I have less time to run around and chase things.
The only good thing about day light savings is that my dinner comes earlier. Posted by Picasa

One dog is China, what is up with that?

My Mom said they have a new rule in China.
One dog per home.
Now the dogs are going to be as spoiled as their only sons are.
They say they need to do that crazy law because of dog rabies.
I think they need rabies shots for all the dogs.
Dogs need friends.

My mom almost rescued a dog last week but we didn't get her.
She was a really pretty girl named Maija.
She went home with the people who fostered her.
Maybe next spring, I will get a sibling. Posted by Picasa

Can I have whatever you got? Please

This works.
Believe me. They fall for it most the time. My Daddie falls for it all the time. They call it"Sitting Pretty"
I call it my Burger King ploy, I can always have it my way.
Would you say no to this? Posted by Picasa

Blueberry has her own car

Blueberry is our new parrotlet.
She is already driving around the living room in her blue car.
Mom tries to play with her, but how much can you do with a bird?
She doesn't fetch or sit up or jump thru hoops.
I still think dogs are more fun.
Now, that is just my opinion, because I am one. Posted by Picasa
