Same color with fur!

I wish I was a chihuahua

My folks are going to sunny Mexico and they are leaving
me behind. Grandma and Grandpa are going to watch us
so I will be having fun and getting lots of attention.
BUT, if I were a chihuahua I'm sure I would go.

I hope the don't bring back another silly hat!
I would like taco's PLEASE!

A Beaver on my head

Some people have a monkey on their backs.
I have a beaver on my head.
I don't know what it means, because it's cold outside
and we have all been very lazy, not busy like a beaver.

Don't worry a beaver was not hurt in the taking of this
picture. I already pulled the stuffing out of him before hand.

I had a Merry Christmas

I had a very merry Christmas and I hope you did too!

And how was your Christmas

Camo and I enjoy opening presents. This year
there were some soft chewy treats inside. You can
see that I really put my mind into it, or at least my mouth
and head.

Cookies for Christmas

Camo is helping Mom bake dog cookies for Christmas.
They are excellent for the tummie!
We like them in our wrapped Christmas gifts, because
we like to open the gift and eat them immediately.
For some reason, this amuses our folks.

Kissing Frogs

Sometimes life is about kissing frogs. It's not easy being
a princess, when your duties are so many and so curious.

We went to a statue yard this week-end and we bought
some home. The only one they had that looked like me,
was kinda ugly. So it really didn't look like me.
The only dachshund statue they had didn't look like Camo.
So we got a big gnome, a St. Francis ( for our pet cemetery)
and some huge woven baskets for the front porch.

We may go back in the Spring and look at some frogs
and benches. Not this frog....oh no...not this frog!

I wish I could sled in the house

It's beginning to look like Christmas in the house.
The tree is up and they added a new decoration that
looks like me. I am under the tree waiting for
the doggie treats that always appear in my presents.

Nobody trust us and they don't put out the presents
till Christmas morning, otherwise we would be snacking
on the treats, all the time.

We could use a new photo for Christmas with Santa

The Franklin County Humane Society
will host Pet Pictures with Santa
at Tractor Supply in Winchester.
We could certainly use a new photo this year.
This photo was taken way back in 2007.

The event is next week-end.
Saturday, December 12, 10:00-3:00
Sunday, December 13, 12:00-5:00

Santa's special helper, professional photographer Linda Curty,
takes pictures of your pets with Santa on each of these dates.

4 x 6 pictures in gift cards are $10 each or three pictures for $25.

All the profits will be used to care for the homeless dogs
and cats at Animal Harbor.

Spruce up Fluffy and Fido and bring them out to help a good cause!

Christmas Fudge

It's getting to smell a lot like Christmas.
Mom made her first two batches of Christmas fudge.
This one looks like a wreath with Cherry Holly.

I know I can't eat fudge. It's chocolate.
Oh Fudge!
Mom had me model my sweater wearing mittens.
Just in case I got my paws on some of that fudge.

Lola, my kissing cousin

We went to my cousin's house for Thanksgiving.
Her name is Lola and she is still a puupy.
She may be part Border Collie, Greyhound and Great Dane.
She is full of pep and much to big for me to play with.

New Coat , New Dog

Camo got a new coat for winter. He plans to wear it
for Thanksgiving. He looks really good in it, so good
that I can't think of any snide remarks to make.
Give me time......I will be thinking about it all day.

Always on the job of just being a dog.

Daisy was here

Even though I am a girly girl, with my pink camouflage
coat. I still do what dogs do.
I let the world know I was here.

I can't remember which way trail we took, but I know
Camo will know.
His nose is like a blood hound's nose and he
thinks I smell sweet.

Mom loves gnomes.
Lucky for me, Camo was one and not me!

Bandit went to Heaven

Bandit passed away yesterday. He was a handsome
older gentleman of a dog. He was 14 and still ready
to play. Here, he is crouching down ready for a frisbee
to be throw.
Bandit loved the game and now he plays it in heaven.
