If dogs had wings we could fly high in the sky.
We could fly faster than squirrels run.
We could fly over the backyard fence and run down to the pond whenever we wanted.
We could sit high up in trees and laugh at cats down below.
We could swope down on visitors and surprise them .
We wouldn't come when we were called, it's too easy to fly off to new adventures.
I better think this over.
I would get in a whole mess of trouble if I had wings.
